I have dreamed of visiting China for years. I also watch any travel show featuring China as I love getting ideas.  And during a rather boring afternoon at work I came across a tour with Titan Tours. This is billed as a superb value tour and for the price I paid. I am over the moon that I am finally going to visit one of bucket list countries in 2017.

We are flying to Beijing with British Airways with three nights there. We have excursions too;

• Tian’anmen Square
• Forbidden City
• Great Wall of China
• Beijing’s Summer Palace

I am also hoping to see the Birdnest – I remember watching the 2008 Olympics from my sick bed – I had sprained my ankle and just enjoying everything about it.

We then get a train from Beijing to Xian to see the Terracotta Warriors, I do remember visiting a selection of them at the British Museum in 2007 but in Xian there are thousands there. It would just be amazing !

Then on to Chengdu, primarily to visit the Panda Breeding Centre. Someone said to me recently that I could just visit them at the zoo in Beijing but I am not doing that. I would really like to see them in Chengdu. And this was the reason that I booked this trip. Ever value trip that I have seen, was Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. So I just decided what are you waiting for !

This is an escorted tour, so that will be interesting as I normally like to visit countries independently.  I really can not wait to visit China !
