THE INKEY LIST EYE PRODUCTS REVIEW

The Inkey List is a budget skincare range from the UK. They are constantly bringing out new products of ingredients. This review is all about the eye product on sale.

Caffeine Eye Serum

This was one of the first products that I tried. It has a nice feel around the eye. My skin is sensitive and easily irritated, this product is  effective and a little gentler on the skin. I thought I would be continuing to buy this for my eyes, as they like it and the price is right at £8.99 and I have no issues with the packaging. This was 15ml and is loaded with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant benefits derived from coffee, which help to reduce puffiness, dark circles and prevent skin damage from free radicals, which can make dark circles more pronounced. Such a bargain at £8.99.  This is nice, but even though I used a very small amount, it caused milia under my eyes, so I will not be repurchasing.

Retinol Eye Cream

A night time eye cream formulated to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while giving extra support to your most fragile skin. Our Retinol Eye Cream has been formulated with slow release Vitamin A derivatives. These have been shown to support natural collagen production, while being gentle enough to use around the eyes. This was perfumed and I liked it. But then I had problems with my eyes. More watering and I stopped this and then my eyes were fine. Not buying again.

Brighten-I-Under Eye Cream

A brightening under-eye cream that combines skincare and cosmetics, providing both long and short-term benefits. Four times more potent than Vitamin C, Brighten-i under-eye cream reduces the appearance of dark circles and helps to illuminate and prime the under-eye area for an instant boost or an ideal make-up base. The cooling metal applicator helps soothe the under-eye area for instantly awake eyes. On the fence about this. It was ok, but did it really do what it stated. The claims it would illuminate, I never saw any difference. I did not like the metal applicator, that I ended up just putting the product on my fingers to use up. Not repurchasing this either.

Would I repurchase the Inkey List eye products, probably not.  I do like another brands eye products and some of these did not work well enough for me. I would recommend them for you to try. They make work for you. Everyone has different opinions about this and everyone’s face might like them.
