Skincare I can no longer use. Active cleansers, acid exfoliators, single step products. I have found so many problems with skincare products this year. My skin has been irritated with soreness and redness for about five months of this year. No more.

Actives in Cleansers

Cleansers are now getting more and more ingredients, But my skin can not tolerant it. I have been using a cleanser with both added hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. And with two more skin care steps with the same extras. This irritated my skin. So I will only buy gentle basic cleansers. These two irritated my skin on my face so much. They were finished up on my body.

Exfoliators

I can only use acid pads twice a week. No more exfoliators serums, creams. Only pads have worked. I have sold every product that I had. Also I can not use an acid pad along side a product with niacinamide either. This was irritating my skin. So alternate days or week, which will depend on the product.

Single Serums

These single products like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide are often found in so many moisturisers that I have. I do no think that after I have used up everything. I will not repurchase in the future. The only exception will be Vichy Mineral 89, I use this before my skin and me prescription. These below are what I found in my stash, an hyaluronic acid and an antioxidant. A couple of my new favourites from 2021, two cleansers and a SPF have antioxidants in them. So I just need to check the ingredients of every product that I try.

Cerave Reformulated

Cerave has been reformulated and the evening lotion is now more runny and not for me. The brand have removed parabens. Phenoxyethanol was added in place of these parabens. Both of these ingredients are preservatives. Phenoxyethanol was added in place of these parabens. Another notable difference in the CeraVe PM new formula is the replacement of hyaluronic acid with sodium hyaluronate. Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. A lot of people have had problems, so I am not even going to risk my skin. I will useup what I have left and never repurchase again.
