We arrived at Preskil Beach Resort in the east of Mauritius. When we were driven here, I thought this place was big. It had only been an 15 minute drive from the airport. And after roughly a day travelling to get here, this was a relief. Our driver also told us, this place was known for the birds. And they were loud ! Set on a private peninsula, with approximately 750 meters of beach, it is so beautiful here.

We were meet by the reception, and a lovely lady took us through the signing in process and showed us to our room. We have a lagoon room with a four poster bed. And it felt a little dated. Even more so, when we saw the bathroom. But there we go. We are on an all inclusive package. So we first went to dinner and then after unpacking, we passed out. So much so, we missed breakfast the next morning.

The resort has two pools, a public beach and the staff could never do enough for you. Thankfully for us, it did not feel like a honeymoon resort. It was more like a family resort. And we spent a lot of time, relaxing in the pool and the sea. And I loved reading on the beach. I got through at least five books.

We also were offered a sunset cruise and two couples massages. Which was a surprise and both were amazing. We paid £2245 for ten nights on an all inclusive basis with Kuoni. This was such a bargain. And I will always look out for Kuoni Offers Of The Weeks, as this was amazing for the price we paid. This is the third long haul trip I have had with Kuoni and they are my go to brand for the future. This was perfect for our plans for resting and relaxing.
