Before we joined our Royal Caribbean cruise, we had some free time in Miami. We stopped in the Miami Seaquarium to see what they had to offer. It was on the way to the cruise port. We were driving up from our base in the Florida Keyes. The Miami Seaquarium is a 38-acre oceanarium located on the island of Virginia Key in Biscayne Bay, Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States and is located near downtown Miami. Founded in 1955, it is one of the oldest oceanariums in the United States. The marine life park filled with animals that you would expect, dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles, manatees.

It is a lovely place to spend a few hours in. This park has rescued, rehabilitated and released countless manatees, sea turtles, dolphins and whales. And is one of only three facilities in the State of Florida with a letter of authorisation from the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a Manatee Critical Care Facility. The park’s highly trained animal rescue team includes divers, staff veterinarians and animal caretakers who are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This is the official site

We got a beautiful image of the Miami Skyline that we were really pleased with.
