2021 new skincare favourites. These products that I tried this year for the first time. Some were out of my stash and some were new releases from brands. These first four were found in spring 2021. Some new to the UK, some I just not got around to testing. They all matched my price, product and packaging except for the jar.

Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Cream Mist

This intensive, moisturising fine mist provides immediate refreshing hydration and comfort to dry skin. Skin feels supple, smooth and super moisturised right away. Specially formulated with Dr.Jart+’s Ceramidin Complex, a proprietary derma fusion of five ceramides. I use this after acids, tretinoin and my rosacea skin just loves this. CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum

New to the UK this year. CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a lightweight serum that provides 24 hour hydration and moisture to the skin. Formulated with 3 Essential Ceramides, Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic Acid, the formula helps to protect the natural skin barrier and retain moisture on the skin. This is thicker cream that just sinks into my skin. I use this in the morning and follow with spf.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Age Correct SPF50

This suncare has true skincare efficacy; the formula is enriched with Hyaluronic Acid, PHE-Resorcinol & LHA, Niacinamide and La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water to hydrate and re-plump, target pigmentation and soothe the skin. As well as providing broad-spectrum UVA and high UVB protection, Anthelios Age Correct SPF50 contains Anti-Pollution & Anti-Oxidation technology to further protect the skin. This is lovely for my skin. One pump is enough to cover my face, neck and hands. It has a lovely smell and just sinks in. This is a multi use product, which moisturisers, has sun protection and anti oxidations. This will be used every time I go outside. I just love it !

Lumene Lähde Hydration Recharge Overnight Cream

This contains Pure Arctic Spring Water to promote the appearance of a healthy-looking complexion, replenishing Organic Nordic Birch Sap and an exclusive Hydra-Technology, supporting continuous hydration throughout the night. It is a thick cream, and sinks in to my skin. It surprised me, how nice my face felt after this. I will be repurchasing in the future.

Ren Clean Jelly Oil Cleanser

A gentle yet effective cleansing treatment is clinically proven to remove waterproof makeup, pollution and SPF. This contains Meadowfoam Seed Oil which helps to replenish skin’s barrier with essential fatty acids Omega 3 and 6. Sunflower Seed Oil which helps to protects skin’s natural moisture barrier to prevent continued dryness. Also Grape Seed Oil which is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties helps restore skin health and protect against free radicals. This is a one stop for me in the summer months. I did not need to double cleanse while I used this. This goes onto my dry skin and feels amazing. It turns into a lightweight oil that dissolves make-up, SPF and pollution. Add a little water and the oil turns into a milky emulsion to wash away dirt and impurities. This will be added to my cleansing rotation. I was so impressed with this.

And Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm

This award-winning cleansing balm created by founder Charlotte Cho is amazing. Every scoop is a sensorial experience, thanks to its signature sorbet-like texture that is rich in nutrients. The Living Cleansing Balm glides onto skin and melts away oil-based impurities such as excess sebum, sunscreen and stubborn makeup without leaving behind an oily residue. The star ingredient in the luxurious formula is antioxidant and fatty acid-rich seaberry (sea buckthorn) oil, which softens and protects skin, and gives the balm its distinctive bright yellow colour. Other skin-benefiting ingredients include anti-aging and brightening persimmon extract and nourishing olive oil and vitamin E. Free of polyethylene, mineral oil, alcohol, silicone, parabens, artificial colouring and synthetic fragrance. I had brought a sample to try and just loved it, the smell, the texture, it just felt amazing on my rosacea skin. No problems, when it was released on Cult Beauty, I brought a full size to give this a proper try.
