We had booked a ninety minute walking tour around Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and from above – taken from the road side. It looks beautiful ! We meet our guide at the fountain in the square named Brsalje.
This was the first thing we saw a map of the Old Town alongside, another map showing the damage done during what Croatians call the Homeland War.
This bell tower was originally built in the 15th century.
The bell tower with the bronze twins.
If you look at this closely, you can just make out the Dubrovnik cable car which was fun !
These are some of the many churches found – over fifteen I think !

This building is the historic archives.
The tour ended at the Old Town port, where you could try a submarine or boat trip around the harbour. We decided to leave and check in at our hotel as we had just dropped our bags off.
