I had researched as normal and picked Hotel Lapad in Dubrovnik for our short stay and had reserved a pool and sea view. After we check in, we arrived in our view and I was pleased with what I saw.

Located across the port Of Gruz, so every morning we would wake to see different cruise ships dock yet we did not hear anything and slept with the windows open. There were no cruise ships on the Friday. This hotel is based in the province of Lapad. So you could either walk the forty five minute trek to the Old Town or travel on the number 6 bus which stopped outside the hotel. This bus journey was only five minutes to the Old Town. Free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast, which was what I like.

We had dinner here one night and again it was a buffet which is perfect for us. I would recommend Hotel Lapad for anyone wanting to stay somewhere quiet, quaint and would stay at again !
