H+ Hotel is an ideal location in Salzburg if you plan on travelling around Austria like I do. When I decided to travel to three countries by train. I realised that I need hotels close to the train stations. When you have been on a train for either three or seven hours, you do not want to walking around a new city walking around with a crutch looking for your hotel. So my choice was four star hotels, with breakfast within five minutes walking from the station I would be arriving at.

I had booked two nights stay with breakfast. This was my room on the first floor.

The only thing I did not like was the shower. I miss a bath and again I am not a fan of those containers bolted to the wall. I understand why hotels do this. But I just think they look vulgar.

This was the view from the H+ Hotel first floor. And although you could see the trains, you could not hear them.

And this was the view from my room. This is the room of the shopping centre next door. Where you can find a Macdonalds, Starbucks, Spar supermarket, a pharmacy when I needed to buy sun cream as I had forgot mine. I did spend some time there.

H+ Hotel is a mere fifteen minute walk to the Mirabelle Gardens. I had to take the bus due to my mobility issues. And had no problems with public transport. Would I stay again, yes I would if I was returning to Salzburg. And I would recommend this to anyone who wanted to visit Salzburg.
