MOROCCO, MARRAKECH, RIAD AL RIMAL

Riad Al Rimal is located in the historic heart of the medina of Marrakech, less than 2 minutes walk from the famous Jemna El Fna Square and Koutoubia Mosque.
We paid to be picked up at the airport as I was not sure that I would even have any idea how to get to our riad. And this was money well spent. We were dropped off in the Jemna El Fna square before you knew it, the riad is found by walking though a warren of side streets and passages.
As soon as the front door was closed, it was so quiet and peaceful. You would not think that you were anywhere near the busy square of Marrakech. We were welcomed by the riad with mint tea and cookies. We were given a short talk about what to see in the city.
We were given a tour of the riad, taking in the spa, the roof terraces
Before we were shown to our room for our weekend trip. We stayed in the Coral Suite.
Our first night we had dinner at the riad, where we ate on the terrace.
We had a mix of Moroccan salads, followed by Tangia marrakchia with beef and season vegetable – this was delicious – the beef was slow cooked in a pot for over five hours – we were promised a Moroccan delight and it was.
I really enjoyed my stay here at the Riad Al Rimal. And I would also recommend this for anyone wanting an authentic stay in the Medina. It close enough to some of the main attractions but you can not hear them. I am glad that I booked this for our introduction to Morocco.

Looks great! I can imagine breakfast on the roof terrace would be the perfect start of the day.
