So for our anniversary, it was another stay in the city and as we had enjoyed our experience at the Apex City of London hotel, we picked another from the Apex brand. The hotel was previously a barristers’ chambers, in Serjeants’ Inn. A postwar building across from the Royal Courts of Justice on Fleet Street.  This hotel is such a lovely area of London, that I hope to explore it more in future. Its a 10 mins walk to St Pauls Cathedral east and 10 mins walk west takes to you to The Strand, Covent Garden and theatre land.

Again, we had a deluxe double room, but this was double the price of our previous stay at the City Of London Apex. And I could not see why it costs so much more and the fact that our room was freezing cold. I will not be returning to stay. I am looking forward to my last Apex in London – Apex London Wall.

The bright contemporary rooms have flat-screen TVs, iPod docks and free Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, and minibars. Upgraded rooms add sitting areas and Nespresso machines, while suites include separate living areas with dining tables and entertainment systems. Some suites have balconies with city views. There’s a chic, modern European restaurant with a patio, as well as a 24-hour fitness centre.
