POLAND, WARSAW, POLONIA PALACE HOTEL

Polonia Palace Hotel was my pick for my stay in Warsaw, Poland. I had thought whilst planning this european trip that I would treat myself to a little luxury at the end. The Polonia Palace Hotel is such a beautiful building. It boasts long history, it has survived war and political crises. I did enjoy my stay there, and another plus for me as the fact it was a five minute walk from Warsaw Central Station. While I was on my seven and a half hour train from Slovakia to Poland. I had been googling what my upcoming room was going to be offering me. I was so looking forward to a long bath. Soothing my sore legs. And I do not know what was said at the reception. This was my view when I entered the room. A lovely big bed with plenty of floor space.
And then I walked in the bathroom.
I had been given a mobility room. When I used the toilet, my feet do not even touch the ground. I was disappointed and did think about asking to move. But then I though, go and get some dinner. And literally after returning I passed out. And woke up the next morning after an nine hour sleep. Which does me the world of good every time.
I had breakfast as part of my booking and it was packed every morning with business people. So I think that it is very popular with them. Would I stay here again at the Polonia Palace Hotel, maybe. I really do not know what is going to happen in my future.
