MY TRAVEL YEAR IN REVIEW

Well as 2014 comes to a close. I am thinking back to my year of travels. Our first trip was in March when we went to Kuala Lumpur. And I would return to Malaysia in a heart beat.
We then went on to Phuket where we wanted rest and relaxation. And this was perfect.
And where we went to Tiger Kingdom, which I was so looking forward to but left me feeling torn about it.
In April, my sister came over from Australia with her son, and the family introduced him to London for the first time.
May was when I decided to finally start this blog. People had been telling for some time to write about all my travels and I really should have listened to them !
August was the trip to Prague for my birthday. Prague was somewhere I had wanted to visit for sometime and I loved it – everyone should visit this city at least once !
September was the wedding in Cascais, Portugal – our short visit, we managed to get to Lisbon and Sintra too.
And November, was the return visit to Paris for me, to introduce to my mum, who had never visited.
But I have also managed to visit various places in the UK – Alveston where I woke up to this view
And found my dream house
And to Yorkshire, where I went to visit Whitby Abbey
And stayed in a castle
Christchurch to celebrate a special 90th birthday and found this serene spot.
And I loved my various trips to London and my favourite thing to see was the Tower Poppies
I have lots planned for 2015 – I really can not wait for January to come !
