I had wanted to visit the Malmaison, London so it was the obvious choice when I was in the City recently. This is a converted nurses home. I arrived one wet windy afternoon after a morning of sightseeing. I was checked in a basic room on the first floor. But I was pleasantly surprised, the size of the room, with the bathroom and the desk area.

The television was the right size too which makes a change. The bed was so comfortable. It is a stylish hotel. I am glad I visited. It is around the corner from Smithfields Market, which is one of the oldest markets in London. And only ten minutes walk from the Barbican Centre performing arts complex. I have bookmarked it for a return visit if I ever in this part of London in the future. I would love to return to the Malmaison again.
