My introduction to Korean Beauty Products. I have been researching Korean Beauty for some time. I found a brand called Corsx. The packaging is simple but the products are packed with amazing ingredients. I wanted to see if they worked on my rosacea skin.

Corsx Oil Free Ultra Moisturising Lotion

This lotion helps hydrate and treat sensitive, irritated, or freshly exfoliated skin.  Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion contains 70% Birch Sap, a powerhouse ingredient for calming and treating sensitive, irritated, or freshly exfoliated skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula. This lotion was developed to complement COSRX’s famous AHA, BHA and Vitamin C products. It’s suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin. This I used as a night cream. This felt cooling on my face, I liked the product, the packaging and the price for a 100ml glass bottle. This is going to be repurchased.

Corsx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream

This is a lightweight moisturiser that soothes and heals irritated skin, while balancing and protecting your skin barrier. Formulated with 50% of Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, 10,000 ppm of Ceramide NP and 500 ppm of Centella Asiatica Medical Grade Extract, this cream repairs damaged skin and protects it against environmental irritants and moisture loss. I did not like this, it had a funny smell, and although it worked well enough. It was not as nice as another brand Ceramide Cream that I preferred.

Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream

Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream is a nourishing moisture cream that endows energy and beauty to the skin with purely separated snail secretion filtrate at 92% content, from living Korean snails. This cream or gel as I thought of it, is safe for usage in skin, consisting of excellent skin-activation components, preventing skin damage and available for use immediately after facial wash, without skin or lotion. I did not like the texture of this on my face, so used this up on my body.

Physiogel Hypoallergenic Calming Relief Face Moisture Skin Serum

Daily use moisturizing cream for dry, sensitive skin that can feel tight, rough, or uncomfortable. Non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic. With its bio-microbial technology and abundant moisturizing properties, it is effective in moisturizing the skin. This I will used when my skin is irritated or having a reaction to something. It has shown to be very calming on my rosacea skin.

Corsx Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence

Formulated with Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate 95%, this essence helps nourish and hydrate the skin, and over time making it appear more radiant and clear. I used this up and saw no difference with my skin over a four month period. Used both day and night, I was disappointed but what can you do. I was also not a fan of the application. For me, it was very messy and I will not be repurchasing this product.

Its Skin Power 10 Formula GF Effector

This is a highly potent serum formulated with extracts of licorice to reduce redness caused by irritation. It’s Skin Power 10 collection of serums is designed to tackle every skincare problem with a blend of highly effective, nourishing ingredients. It works to help relieve dry and sensitive skin, keeping it hydrated. I was firstly impressed with the packaging and product was very nice. This worked well on some immediate irritation that I felt.

AHC Essential Real Eye Cream for Face

I brought this product as both Nadine Baggott and Sali Hughes said this was amazing and only after I looked at the ingredient list. This is a powerhouse of goodness. A restorative blend of vitamins and peptides revitalises and nourishes to restore a natural radiance.  I brought this when it was on offer in early July and paid £19.50. I loved this, and after product useup, this is my bench mark for serums. This is so so good. The rest of the range on Look Fantastic that is available did not appeal to me.

These were the first type of Korean beauty that I have ever tried. Some I liked, some I did not get on with. But I know I will be repurchasing some more from some of these brands to try.
