LONDON, IMAGES FROM THE SOUTHBANK AT NIGHT

On our recent stay in London, my husband and I decided to take both our cameras out to try and get good night shots. We have never got any good night shots anywhere we have been. Our walk took us from the Albert Embankment all the way to the Millennium Bridge. I had no idea until the next day that we had walked over two miles but then there was so much going on, it really didn’t matter. So the following images are our try and error. Enjoy !
For me, it started walking across the Vauxhall Bridge and I came across the SIS (Secret Intelligence Service) building and as I had just seen Skyfall recently over Christmas I recognised it straight away.
I then walked down to Westminster Bridge to meet my husband.
And we continued on down the Southbank past the London Eye (not one of my favourite things to do in London)
And came across the Winter Festival being held at the Southbank
Passed Blackfriars station via the underground walkway.
Before we came across the Millenium Bridge or what I call it the Harry Potter bridge !
We stopped off for dinner and then caught the tube at Southwark back down to Westminster. I saw this poster and it did make me laugh.
Before we called it a day and went back to our hotel. And although it was early January, it was nice walk and I might even repeat it in the summer.

Love the shots of Westminister Bridge, as well as the one at the end of Big Ben. 🙂
