LONDON, TATE MODERN MUSEUM

This was an unexpected visit to the Tate Modern. My husband has wanted to visit it but until this latest weekend in London it didn’t happen. All visiting information can be found here – we were visiting on a Friday night when it is opened until from 10 am to 10 pm on both Friday and Saturday. Admission is free, but there are other exhibitions that you have to pay to see.
We entered from the Millennium Bridge and this was our view.
We did not get to see everything in the gallery. We started on the fourth floor and walked our way around and down. We did not pay to go into any of the gallerys. The following are just images of art that interested me. There are hundreds of works of art in the gallery and if you are fan, than you should go.
This is the view of the Thames from the balcony of the cafe on the first floor.
Tate Modern is a modern art gallery located in London. It is Britain’s national gallery of international modern art and forms part of the Tate group. It is based in the former Bankside Power Station, in the Bankside area of the London Borough of Southwark.
