The Refinery Bar is situated on the ground floor of the Blue Fin Building at the corner of Southwark Street and Canvey Street, part of the Bankside Mix shopping and dining area. This was an unexpected meal. After our two mile walk, my husband announced he had to eat something. He used to work around Southwark, so he knew where he wanted us to eat. However, we came across The Refinery and it looked empty. Considering this was a Friday night and was only 7 pm, it was a bit of a surprise.

My husband had mention that he was used to this heaving with people, but a lot of business had moved out of the area. We had a lovely meal and if we are back in the area, we would return.
