LONDON, BREAKFAST AT THE DUCK AND WAFFLE

So I was staying in the city in December and had thought this would the perfect opportunity to visit the Duck and Waffle for breakfast. I have had bookings for a least three different occasions, that we have to do cancel for what ever reason. I was pleased that we were finally going to eat here. We arrived and were shown to our seats. Eating on the forty floor is not normally a good idea for someone who is not a fan of heights. But I was determined to experience this. The view alone was worth it.
Located on the 40th floor on the Heron Tower. This is one of the highest restaurant in the UK, featuring unparalleled city views. And one of the few that are open 24/7. We were shown to our seats and just look at the view
And we were so lucky that we had a clear, rain free morning.
I ordered scrambled eggs on toast with a side of mushrooms, my husband ordered the house breakfast. It was delicious !
Would I return. I am not sure. It is very expensive and once you have seen the views, would you want to chance it again. And you know the weather in the UK. It was really nice and I am so pleased that I finally ticked this off my unwritten bucket list.

Hello,
How can you visit Duck & Waffle and not order the Duck & Waffle? Its the signature meal!
😀
I see you are afraid of heights, how did you find the lift? I love it but I realise not everyone would enjoy it as much as I do!
Thanks,
The Reverend.

The lift was fine. You know you can order what ever you like ! – Not a fan of waffles and I am not the type of person to order a meal just for the blog or a instagram shot. I only buy what I will eat and drink and am very fussy !
Goodness, what a view! Looks like a wonderful experience.
Lovely but expensive which is why I will only visit once !
Ooooh I’ve always fancied trying it! When we visit London we save up and head to 45 Jermyn Street which is also expensive but really worth the splurge every year or so!
I do think that I’m going to try Duck and Waffle next time we visit London after your post!!
Hope you enjoy your visit. Lots of places for me to try on my next visit for breakfast !
