LONDON, THE TRAIL OF PADDINGTON

I had booked to visit the Winter Wonderland on a day off in the city and at the same time, there were over 50 Paddington Bear statues placed over London. I read some of the Paddington Bear stories when I was child and thought this would be a fun thing to do. Paddington Bear has been around for nearly 60 years, my mum remembers an earlier one than the one presented at Paddington station. The story of Paddington is that Michael Bond brought a small bear from Selfridges on Christmas Eve in 1956 for his wife and named it Paddington – after the railway station that they lived near to. I had no intention of seeing all 50 bears but on my couple of days in the city – combining with time at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, Christmas Shopping and My Sherlock Experience. I did manage to see a few – and they are cute and it was better than doing housework !

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this blog.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance”
between usability and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a amazing job with this.
Additionally, the blolg loads super fast for me on Internet explorer.
Excellent Blog!
