INDEED LABS PRODUCTS REVIEW

Indeed Labs was introduced to me by Nadine Baggott on YouTube. I was looking for products to take with me to firstly Vietnam and Cambodia and also Argentina and Brazil trips in 2018. The hot weather that I was going to encounter meant that it was time to lighten up on my skincare and opt for serums on their own. She suggests Indeed Labs as the modern formulations are butterfly light yet pack a powerful hydration hit for your skin. I first brought these products.

INDEED LABS

Hydration Booster and Hydraluron Serum

The Indeed Labs hydration booster is a milky serum and the Hydraluron Moisture Serum is more a silicone cream. I took them away and my skin loved them. I used them everyday and my skin drank them up and enjoyed them. I was so impressed with this brand. I did like the hydration booster more that I brought more of them. This is what I found out about the company

“We’re a Canadian-based skincare company that started in 2011 with award-winning nanoblur™, the first blurring product on the market that used revolutionary science to help smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Our goal was to make people feel comfortable showing their real selves in front of HD cameras and behind their selfie sticks everywhere. We’ve since created an entire line of high quality nourishing skincare products that deliver real results for real people. Not just one type of person with one type of skin issue or one age group. No. People everywhere from all different walks of life and with all different skin concerns.

We continue to be the champion for real in every product we make and in everything we do. We use only high quality, proven active ingredients and remove everything else. That includes parabens, perfumes, low quality ingredients, misleading claims and fancy ads. We’re stripping away all the unnecessary elements to give you what you really want – great looking and great feeling skin at a price you can smile about”

They are very open about upgrading their products.

“Rather than discontinuing products we’ve spent months to years perfecting, we have decided to make them better by merely upgrading them. The name stays the same with the addition of “II” and the products work to target the same concerns, but we’ve scoured the world for the latest technology to add next generation actives so the products are even more effective than they were before! Just like our cell phones, our skincare needs to be upgraded too. Why discontinue products when you can make them even better?”

I then brought other products to see how they worked for my skincare, namely the Vitamin C24, retinol, hydraluron moisture jelly and Q10 booster.

INDEED LABS

Retinol Reface

I used the Retinol Reface next and again, I really liked this. Retinol reface is a three in 1 formula combining retinol, a retinol like peptide and retinol plant based microspheres to help deliver softer, smoother and visibly younger-looking skin. Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A and is considered to be one of the most effective ingredients in helping those with aging concerns. With three forms of retinol, this super concentrated night cream quickly and effectively targets signs of aging by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles without causing peeling, dryness or redness. I would buy this again, once I have finished up other retinol products that I own.

Vitamin C24

I started to use this on alternate nights to the retinol. About three weeks after I started the retinol as I did not want to over load my skin with too many new products. This is a very thick cream that took some time to sink in. I liked that there was no fragrance, the cream was smooth. The next time I used this it was a lot harder to sink into the skin and I am not happy having to roughly use this. I will continue to finish the product then, probably not re purchase.

Q10 Booster Serum

This serum is a repair and regenerate aging skin with Q10 booster. A multifaceted concentrated serum full of targeted ingredients such as Coenzyme Q10, Vitamin E and Vitamin C to enrich skin, inhibit pigment production, even out skin tone and fight oxidative stress caused by pollution and UV damage. Q10 booster also works towards a more youthful tone and texture by creating the building blocks for collagen and elastin, which minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. My face loved this and I like the packaging as this works well from my rheumatoid fingers.

Hydraluron Moisture Jelly

This promised long lasting hydration. Filled with hyaluronic acid and PatchH20™ technology, it works to combat dullness, dehydration, dryness and signs of premature aging by providing the skin with instant and long lasting hydration. The high molecular weight of hyaluronic acid allows the jelly to form a protective layer on the skin’s surface to lock in hydration and prevent moisture evaporation. This unique jelly moisturizer saturates the skin with fast-absorbing ingredients leaving skin soft, smooth, plump and radiant. I loved the packaging,  you do not have to stick your fingers into the jar to get the product out while contaminating it. This might be re-purchased in the future. This thick jelly is perfect for hot sticky days. So this could be a hot holiday item. The jar is between £17-20 for a 30ml jar. It is more expensive than Clinique Dramatically Different Hydrating Jelly. but is thicker and sinks in well. I did like this and it could be a potential long haul hot holiday product. Time will tell !

Bakuchiol Reface Pads

These have been formulated to produce firmer, smoother skin by optimising hydration, improving skin tone and evening out fine lines and wrinkles. Formulated with Bakuchiol, a natural alternative to Retinol, they accelerate skin cell turnover, restore lost elasticity and treat acne. With added niacinamide that combats inflammation and controls sebum production whilst antioxidant Symsave H and soothing Allantoin prevent UV damage and water loss. Free from parabens, fragrance and colourants.

I buy all my Indeed Labs from Boots when there is an offer on. It is just easier and cheaper for me.
