I had picked this hotel for my weekend in London. It was picked for the location as it’s conveniently located to some of things in London, I was planning on visiting. And the other reasons were the price and the duck. Each time you stay in a Apex Hotel, you will find a duck in your bathroom. I had seen photos online and thought there were cute. This is my first duck, meet Edwin.

This hotel is on Seething Lane, not far from Ten Trinty Square, close to the Tower of London. All of their London four star luxury hotels offer the ultimate in comfort and elegance with complimentary Wi-Fi, making your stay in central London chic and convenient. They have won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award across all three London Apex Hotels. I do hope to eventually stay in each hotel, as I love the ducks !  The original building used to be a Grade II listed office building. There is only seven floors, and it felt quaint and boutique. I really enjoyed my stay.

We were given a deluxe double room, and I have to say that I would return in a heartbeat. I was impressed with this brand and would recommend them to anyone wanting to stay in the city.

There was a 40 inch LED TV with digital channels with Sky (including Sky Sports) and a Bose SoundDock for MP3 players.

Complimentary snacks  – always a plus ! We both loved the oat biscuits – delicious !

Love all the plug sockets – we travel with a lot of devices and I was pleased with all the empty plug sockets and there were another 2 on the wall to the left of the desk.

And magazines and dvd rentals – not seen this in any hotel that I had previously stayed at !

And the bathroom was very nice too !

This is the Rainforest Cow found at the entrance. She was purchased by Apex Hotels at the Cow Parade auction – a large public art event, which has taken place in over fifty cities worldwide since it began in 1999.

Trying out another Apex very soon – hope it is a good as this one !
