The Grand Metropark in Xian was the best hotel that I stayed in during my whole time in China. I would even return there when I go back with my husband. I can not wait to go back and stay here.

The Grand Metropark is based within the city walls and it very nice. When we arrived we were told by our guide that the hotel offer a buffet dinner for 80RMB – less than £10 with unlimited drinks. Everyone in the group, decided to eat there. And the food was delicious and good value for money.

I found this in the hotel reception and really like the look of him. This was our room, we only stayed here for two nights and I loved we had a bath as I love soothing my sore muscles from touring in a hot bath.

And the breakfast the next morning, everything was much better than the last hotel. Plenty of wait staff, helpful staff, plenty of choice both Asian and European breakfast and so much to choose from. I really liked this hotel and would recommend it and return it. I would have liked more time in Xian and in the hotel. Our tour was very busy, as were out all day and returned for dinner. And then we would pass out from the days we had experienced. Two nights were not enough.
