For our week in Phuket, we were after rest and relaxation. But we were also interested in seeing some of the surrounding islands. On the list was Phi Phi and the James Bond one know locally as Ao Phang Nga National Park. Our first trip was to Phi Phi Islands, and if I had known that it would take an hour on a speedboat, I would not have gone. This was a very bumpy ride and I get terrible sea sickness.

It was a beautiful area but over run with tourists so if I had know I would have hired a boat and visited smaller less busy islands. We then went to the James Bond island.

We attempted a day in Phuket Town but as soon as we arrived it rained so heavy we made the decision to return to our hotel. And I did get this image as I had never seen so many motorbikes before.

But my favourite thing to do was just relax at our hotel and be in and out of the pool until I got over 100 sand flies bites from the beach there !
