SLOVAKIA, BRATISLAVA SIGHTS

As soon as I got my Bratislava card, I headed to the bus stop and took it down to Aupark Tower. The first place I visited was the UFO Tower. I arrived and was told when I had been in the lift it was going to be another thirty steps to get to the outside viewing section. I can not manage steps very well. So I just walked around the bar and took photos from there.
I then walked back across the river Danube and it was lovely in the sun.
And found the port of Bratislava
I then came across Hviezdoslavovo Square which was so pretty but so busy with people.
I had a ice cream here and found a Hans Christian Anderson statute ! I also loved this building with the forecourt of the restaurant built around the tree.
I then decided to make my way out of the Old Town and came across some beautiful buildings
Then came across St Michael’s Gate one of the original four gates that were gateways for entering the fortified medieval city.
Then the Trinitarian church.
The Grassalkovich Palace.
Then the Old Slovak radio – upside down pyramid which I really liked and could see that people lived in it.
Bratislava is so small and you could easily see most things within a two day period. What I like was how beautiful it was. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend to anyone to visit.
