Bucharest, in southern Romania, is the country’s capital and commercial centre. Bucharest was once know as the little Paris and as you walk around you can see why ! They even have their own Arc Du Trimuphe. During our visit, it was covered up, being repaired. We did another walking tour – firstly at the Union Square which was not built until the 1980’s during the Communist Era.

We could not get any closer to the Palace Of Parliament, there was a motor car event there all weekend and it had been closed off.

This is probably my favourite building The Romanian Athenaeum is a concert hall. I saw this on a drive and just wanted to see it up close.
