I am now trying retinol eye products. I have a few in my stash to try.

Dr Dennis Gross Ferulic and Retinol Eye Serum

The most expensive eye product that I have ever tried. It costs £68 for 15ml. Featuring breakthrough retinol technology designed for upper eyelids as well as the under-eye area, this supercharged serum leaves skin visibly brighter and firmer in just a few weeks. I really like but the cost is more than I would pay. I got this in a reduced Christmas set.

The Inkey List Retinol Eye Cream

A slow-release formula plus rich but lightweight oils so it’s gentle enough to use around the eyes. This night-time eye cream is formulated with Shea Butter to moisturise and soothe while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This was fine, a possible repurchase.

Medik8 Retinol Eye TR

An advanced vitamin A night serum that uses a specialised time-release delivery system to care for the delicate eye area. Improves skin texture and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area. This is too runny for me, not repurchasing.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream

Our unique combination of Retinol SA, Glucose Complex, and Hyaluronic Acid in this lightweight eye cream moisturizes and renews the look of skin throughout the day. It works quickly to diminish the look of fine lines, wrinkles, dark under eye circles, age spots, and stubborn crow’s feet. Did nothing for me.

La Roche Posay Redermic R Eyes

Our 1st retinol enriched skincare for sensitive eyes. 0.1% Pure Retinol + 0.1% of our exclusive Retinol booster complex + 0.2% Caffeine. Clinically proven results for smoothing the appearance of accentuated wrinkles, leaving the eye area looking refreshed and luminous. This was fine, but not sure, it was worth the money. Not repurchasing.

Beauty Pie Super Retinol Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream

Swiss-formulated, with line-smoothing slow-release retinol microcapsules, moisture-magnetizing hyaluronic acid to plump and soften, anti-aging allosteris to slowly reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and bioflavonoids to brighten.

Olay Retinol 24 Eyes

Olay Regenerist Retinol 24 Night Eye Cream contains a proprietary blend combining Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) + Retinoid Complex for 24 hours of hydration, as well as a bounty of other benefits. It visibly smooths fine lines, unleashing the eye’s glow and evening skin texture while you sleep. Its night time eye cream’s formula is fragrance free and free of dyes. I love this, and have already used more than one of them. This is a thicker cream that I have also used all over my face with no problems. But I only buy when it is on offer.

Strivectin Intensive Eye Concentrate For Wrinkles

A cult-favourite, wrinkle-smoothing eye cream, now upgraded and clinically proven to reduce the look of all types of lines around the eyes, starting in just five days. Formulated to deliver results all around the eyes, even on stubborn eleven lines between brows, reducing the look of crow’s feet, under-eye lines, puffiness and dark circles. It’s fast-absorbing, lightweight, and layer able plus fragrance-free, ophthalmologist tested, and non-milia inducing. Ideal for hydrating and visibly transforming delicate skin around the eyes. This is another expensive cream, that does work but out of my budget.

Thoughts

This has been an interesting experiment. More and more companies are producing retinol eye products. The expensive ones have shown improvement. But I can not afford to continue to repurchase. Will I buy any of these again. I do not know. I already use a retinol cream at night and I take it up to my eyes. So I may just continue that. Nothing will every remove the sign of aging. Have companies just manipulated us into buying another product for our eye area?
