Our Spanish road trip starts with a ferry from Portsmouth to Santander. This was suggested to me by my husband. I can take my wheat free food, so we are not restricted with anything.

Then we drive to our hotel in Santander for a couple of days exploring before driving to Bilbao.

I have wanted to visit this city for such a long time. Then onto Zaragoza.

Then we drive to the micro state Andorra for a visit, my husband does not want to stay there.

Then exploring in Girona and Tarragona.

Then we drive down the east coast to where ever we fancy. We have already visited both Barcelona and Valencia. Murcia I did my Spanish exchange with back at school. I will be avoiding Benidorm. We might stop in Alicante and anywhere else that takes my fancy. Castellón de la Plana is a city I have not yet visited.

Then a six hour drive, with a possible stop along the way to the other side of Spain. Driving to Salamanca is another city I would love to visit.

Now I am debating to drive onto Vigo, Santiago de Compostela and A Coruna before taking the ferry back to the UK. This is all still in the planning stages. I have no idea when this will happen, where we will stay. How long we will be away for. I just can not wait to experience this road trip – it will be a experience !
