NORTHERN ISLAND, BELFAST, THE TITANIC EXPERIENCE

The Titanic Experience was something I had wanted to do since this opened in 2012. After all, I made the decision this year, that I was not going to put off places and things that I would like to do ! Our hotel was ten minutes walk and we booked an early slot, as I like places to be quieter – but its August and yet it was still busy there.
The exhibition was so informative, and I really enjoyed it. You walk around learning about Belfast history and the making of Titanic and then the tragedy. It was nice but I was hoping for them to build a re-creation of some of the decks but the video they made was nice to see.
I am even thinking of booking a trip on the new Titanic when that comes out in a few years time. Our ticket included a souvenir photo, a guide book and a reduced ticket to visit the Nomadic which was stationed outside. The building is so striking from all angles. It really is a place to visit !
The only thing I would have liked the Titanic Experience to have would be photo liked the Jack and Rose at the end of the boat from the movie Titanic. Maybe one day they will. I really enjoyed visiting this place.
