I love Netflix in 2018 so much. And this year, I did spend a lot of time watching these various shows. My arthritis medication is taken fortnightly. But unfortunately for me, the medication only lasts one week. So I have to rest up the second week. Finally I got around to watching Season 2 of The Crown. And really enjoyed it and hopefully always will.
Peaky Blinders was amazing and I just feel in love with this show. It is definitely one of my favourites.
American Vandal which my husband told me to watch. And it was okay nothing special.
Then series four of Black Mirror, again a series I do like and wonder if our futures will be anything like this.
Then back to Star Trek Discovery, still not sure of this show. But will watch the next series.
The End Of The F***ing World, my husband told me I would like it and I really did. I hope that there is more. Thankfully a second season was ordered late August. It will be interesting where this story goes.
Then Ozark, which surprised me how much I liked this and pleased that it was given a second series order. And we watched the second one as soon as it was released. And pleased that there is another series coming.
Manhunt, Unabomber which I really enjoyed and was only eight episodes. And I really hope that they do more but of other crimes.
Then started Black Lightning, again not sure of this. I stopped watching this as I just found it boring.
Watched The Mist which I was not a fan of. But it was only ten episodes. And I would not watch another series.
We then started Altered Carbon. Which I have been looking forward to. I was also pleased that they released all ten episodes at once. I am not a fan of them being released every week.
Then one cold day in February we started Van Helsing. And we watched both seasons and really enjoyed it.
Then I started Beyond. But got bored again.
Then Jessica Jones and I do like this Marvel series so will always watch them
Then started Seven Seconds, this series is written by the people who did The Killing and I did like that.
Glitch, an Australian series. A police officer in a small country town finds his life turned upside down when six recently deceased residents return from the dead in perfect health. Something that I really enjoyed too.
Harlan Coben Safe, I am a fan of Harlan Coben and I knew I would enjoy this.
13 Reasons Why season 2 was another good series. Harrowing, some scenes I felt were not necessary but what can you do.
Luke Cage season 2 I really struggled with. I was so bored with this. I did finish it within a week.
So pleased that season 2 of Anne With An E started in July. I did enjoy this and glad they get another series. This was my favourite book as a child. And this is a lovely adaptation.
The Rain we watched in one weekend. Interesting concept, on the fence if I will watch the second series in 2019.
The Innocents, which I really enjoyed and I have already tweeted Netflix asking for a second season.
Then one day resting I started The Alienist, and I was hooked from the 1st episode. And so pleased that the second book is being adapted.
Again when I return from my travels, I was exhausted. So after my September trip, I started the second season of Iron Fist. And I just got bored with it. I was not surprised to find out that it was cancelled.
Suits season eight was something I enjoyed. I have been watching this show since the start. So will always watch it.
Power another series we liked. And we will always watch, if they keep the quality up.
Riverdale is my guilty pleasure, I just hate having to wait weekly for it. I much prefer to binge a series over a few days.
Daredevil season 3 was released in October. And I enjoyed this and hope they get another series. It would be interesting to see where the Bullseye story line goes. Fingers crossed.
Making A Murder Part 2 also came out in late October. And again, I do believe that both Steven Avery and his nephew Brandon Dassey had nothing to do with the tragic murder of Teresa Halbach. This shows the problems in the America legal system. I really hope that all parties in this story get justice.
So looking forward to Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. And I loved it, and can not wait to see the second series when ever it airs. It was so good. My husband thought is this generations Buffy The Vampire type of show.
Then I found Chesapeake Shores, all three seasons. This is a Hallmark show in the US, very sweet and based on a book series. That I then downloaded and read.
Then when my husband was off work we watch The Haunting Of Hill House. And it was so good. I can not recommend this enough, I loved it.
And then also in November, it was the final series of House of Cards. Watched all eight episodes in one day and the last ever one was a big disappointment. But there were go.
We watched the Outlaw King and this was the story of the King Of Scotland.
When we came back from our South America trip, we watched Narcos Mexico. We have always watched this series. And I just enjoy them so much but I do not know why, the subject matter is terrible. I do hope one day, the drug trade is wipe out but I have a feeling it never will.
In December, I watch the Christmas special of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. And I just think she is adorable.
I tried to watch some of the Christmas movies but I only started The Holiday Calendar and could not finish it. It was awful. So that is what I watched in 2018 on Netflix. It is going to be interesting to see what happens to Netflix as they have cancelled lots of shows. Interesting times ahead for Netflix.
