MY APRIL

My April meant more Netflix. Still signed off – I really hope to get back to work soon. And next month, I am still hoping to be well enough for China.

After a teenage girl’s perplexing suicide, a classmate receives a series of tapes that unravel his classmate and crush, who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. This was such a good series and I would recommend this to anyone.

And I have nearly finished the last series of Person Of Interest. I have been saving them on my sky box to binge watch them and it is bitter sweet. I have really enjoyed this show.

I recently saw some of Syfy’s 20th anniversary of Buffy The Vampire Slayer weekend. This made me go back and watch the complete series which I loved when it was first released. Still do and always will !

And I was so lucky to find the new series Anne on Kodi. It arrives on Netflix on May 12th. I have loved this book series for such a long time and this is such a good adaptation. Again, it has made me think about finally visiting Prince Edward Island in Canada. These two as Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe just made my month – they are adorable and I love them. I really hope this is going to be a long running series.

And I finally watched The Getdown. Again, my husband had told me to watch it. So again I had putting it off as I did not want to watch the first part last year knowing that part two would be out later in the new year. So I have seen it and it was ok but not really my taste. We can not like everything can we !

I was planning on seeing Fast and Furious 8, but my husband said it would be out within four months so we decided to wait.

And I binged watched the final series of Broadchurch. And I much prefer watching them all in one sitting. I really enjoyed it and it is a pity this was the final series.

Then I started watching Girl Boss. I liked the shorter thirty minute episodes so I binged them all. I do hope there is another series.

And then I remembered that Bosch series three was due out the same day as Girl Boss but this one is on Amazon. I do like this series a lot.

And the very last day of the month, the day my husband went off to Spain again with his friends. I started the first series of BBC’s 2 Versailles which I found on the I player. I really enjoyed this and my mum and I are making plans to visit the Versailles Palace next summer. I have started to store the second series which is currently airing. I much prefer binge watching them all, rather than a weekly one.
