GREATER LONDON, KINGSTON UPON THAMES

I had booked to go to Traverse 15 in Kingston Upon Thames, the commute there over the weekend would have been over four hours. I decided to stay and have a nice weekend with my travel blogger friends. Best decision, I picked the Travel Lodge Central as they were offering a good package and I wanted to be in the town as I wanted to experience Kingston a bit more. However, I had previously come down with vertigo a few days before. Armed with all my different medication and against advice from my loved ones. I went to Kingston Upon Thames. I found my hotel, Kingston Central Travelodge. I was told it was the older one and that is true.
The exterior did looked tired. But the room was more than adequate for my needs.
I met my friends Colette, Tea and Rachel for a bite to eat at Prezzo before we headed out for the party at All Saints Church. This is not your average place to hold a party that’s for sure. We were warmly welcomed from the team at #KingstonFirst.
And after we left the church. We came across this gorgeous smell of freshly baked cupcakes from Sweet Revenge . It was still open at 9.30pm as the owner was still working ! Getting ready for their busier day – Saturday. We ended up buying some and they were delicious !
The next morning we found a lovely little cafe for breakfast called Cafe Castello. Our breakfast cost less than a fiver and was money well spent. As due to my illness, I could not finish my dinner the night before.
Kingston Upon Thames is a lovely town and I hope to return again and explore more ! Would recommend this to anyone !
