STOPOVER; HONG KONG AND VICTORIA PEAK VIEW

We had a stopover in Hong Kong for a couple of nights before our month in Australia. The normal flight to Australia is about 22 hours, so I like to split the journey time up. I will always try and have a stopover ideally both ways. We left the UK in late January not realising that it would be just as cold and wet in Hong Kong. So this was a disappointment, as this trip I had concentrated so much on what we would be doing in Australia. I had not given much thought to the rest of it. So first lesson learned, research everything that you are going to do. We arrived on a late flight and was taken to our hotel. This was my first picture in Hong Kong.

The next day we had a city tour booked. This included a ride on the tram to see the Victoria Peak views

This was my first venture into Asia and I was not a fan at all. But that was to change with proper research. The best time to visit Hong Kong is May to September not January !
