This was another place that I had put off for so long, Jekka McVicar Herb Farm, found in Alveston in South Gloucestershire. To get here was over a three hour drive so we arrived the night before. We arrived at the Herb Farm as soon as it was opened at ten am and we were the first ones there.

The herb farm has the largest collection of culinary herbs in the UK. There are over three hundred herbs planted in raised beds.

We even were lucky and meet Jekka, who was full of knowledge and it was so interesting. My mum was surprised how many herbs are used for medicine purposes aswell.
