Dubai was a stopover. I had planned for 2012 to be The Dubai and The Maldives for such a long time, people were always going to Dubai and telling me how amazing it was. And that I would love the weather, the atmosphere and so on. I had been researching and found a company called Holiday Please – I had never heard of them before but I really like the way they listened to what I was after and put together a package that suited us down to the ground. We flew with Emirates for the first time, the airport was very modern, very impressive – if only Heathrow could be like this. We were picked up by private transfer and driven to our hotel – The Rotana Towers,  and thanks to our package were given a premium room.

Our room overlooked the Shiekh Zayed Road and Jumeirah Bld. We were impressed with the service here. And pleased that we were close to the metro. We like trying out local travel and experiencing places like locals.
