There are bars with a view and then there is Madison. This is how it looks in the summer.
Overlooking St Paul’s, Madison brings bundles of style, fun and a slice of modern Manhattan to London, all complemented by the views of the City skyline. This would be a perfect place in the spring and summer. But I went in late January and we had terrible weather. So there were no good photos to take at all. And that was such a shame. Perched on the penthouse spot of One New Change, on the 6th level. Madison comprises of a bar, restaurant, cocktail bar and rooftop terraces that are Mediterranean style sun-traps making Madison one of London’s most sought after social settings.
We started with the warm onion bloomer, which was delicious. And I would recommend this.
Before we both had the hamburger and this was where it went wrong !
It does look nice, but my burger was horrible and after one bite, I knew I would not be finishing it at all ! Thankfully the server who cleared our plates, took the burger off the bill. So customer service was amazing, just a shame that the food and the weather was not !
