I finally tried a cable car. On a recent trip to London, we finally went on the Emirates Cable Car. I have wanted to try this out for a long time.

I was very nervous, as although I wanted to try this. I have a fear of heights and things like cable cars are not my idea of fun. So after we got into one of the cars. My fear level was raised and I really thought I had made a big mistake going on this. I was very nervous, can you imagine it braking down in the air and then what do you have to do. Panicked thoughts like this play on my mind in situations like this.

But the whole journey felt calm, and I started to relax. And then just took in the views and I found that I could just really enjoyed it. We visited when the weather was nice. I can not imagine enjoying a cable car in windy raining conditions. But I do know that this another commuter route for people and they use it all weathers.

We took a single journey on the cable car from the Royal Docks over to Greenwich. But you can do a return journey and use your oyster card. This is the website for more information here. I am pleased I finally got to try the Emirates Airline Cable Car.
