The Chelsea Physic Garden is London’s oldest botanic garden. The Chelsea Physic Garden was established as the Apothecaries’ Garden in London, England, in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries to grow plants to be used as medicines. Found right beside the Thames, it was such a lovely place. I am planning to return at each season. The walled garden was founded in 1673 by the Worshipful Society Of Apothecaries for the study and identification of medicinal and useful plants.

There are sixteen separate garden rooms divided by drystone walls and yew hedges. It was such a lovely place. Where there are over five thousand medicinal, edible and historic plants. I already know that a lot of plants are used for some many things. I am so pleased that I finally got to visit this special place.
