A roast dinner is one of my favourite meals. We knew that we wanted to try a Hawksmoor Sunday roast. Found on Air Street, Soho we went for this area. I was so looking forward to this. I love their steaks and had high hopes for their roast dinners !

We arrived and we seated. The design was very art deco and very noisy. This Hawksmoor was so busy and so noisy that you could not hear the server and it was hard to talk to each over the noise.  This is central London, so this is to be expected but it is not good enough in my opinion. Not a good start.

We ordered our roast well done and advised that there would be a thirty minute wait.  We should have asked for our meat to be pink.

When the food arrived, it was a big plate. But the meat tasted burnt. The yorkshire pudding was too dry and overall it was such a disappointment. I am glad that I visited a new location. But I will not return to this site or have one of their roasts again. I am looking forward to trying our their Spitafields branch next !
