LONDON, THE TOWER OF LONDON

The Tower of London, officially Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, is a historic castle located on the north bank of the River Thames in central London. The Crown Jewels were what we had wanted to see. So we booked a trip with the family and off we went. It was a gorgeous day in the city and we were lucky to get to the Tower early before the crowds arrived.  There is not just one tower – many towers make up the Tower of London. I wanted to see the Bloody Tower where the Princes were murdered and the Traitors Gate. There is so much history to this place – the best site to visit before you arrive is

The queue to visit the Crown Jewels is normally long – so maybe join that first. You are not allowed to take pictures of the jewels, but they are beautiful. So pleased I visited and would recommend this to anyone coming to visit the city.
