LONDON, CLINK PRISON

I had walked past this prison museum on numerous occasion while in London, and never get round to visiting. And I was planning to meet up with some other travel bloggers aswell. So we went to the prison. The Clink Prison is known as a notorious medieval prison in Southwark, London. The Clink was a prison in Southwark, England, which operated from the 12th century until 1780. The prison served the Liberty of the Clink, a local manor area owned by the Bishop of Winchester rather than by the reigning monarch. And I was surprised that we got round in about an hour – is a quaint museum and I am pleased that I finally got to visit. Enjoy the photos.
