FIRST VISIT TO MONTENEGRO

An hour’s drive from Dubrovnik Croatia, is the border with Montenegro. I thought this would be another great trip to book. Again booked via Viator and fulfilled by Supreme Tours. This tour did not flow like the one to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the day before. I did admire the views of the mountains, it’s not something I have ever seen before and this was my first visit to Eastern Europe. We were picked up and after the border crossing, we stopped at a gas station. What is interesting about Montenegro, is that use the euro but are not in the EU.
We then took the ferry, as this was going to save time.
Our first stop after four hours was at Sveti Stefan islet to admire the view.
But I do remember telling Ivan, who was driving another group, that so far this was not enjoyable and were disappointed not to experiencing Montenegro with him. He had been such a good tour guide, the day before.
