LONDON, ST PANCRAS RENAISSANCE HOTEL REVIEW

So a special birthday was coming up and I knew exactly where we would be spending our evening. St Pancras Renaissance Hotel was called one of the most romantic spots in 2011. It has been one of my favourite buildings in the world. I have been lucky to have already visited the Booking Office Bar & Restaurant, The Historic Tour, The Spa, The Gilbert Scott Restaurant and all I had left to do was stay there. I had booked a Chambers Suite that over looked the Midland Road. And when we arrived at about 3pm, the receptionist offered us a unique room.
And we were fine with this. And then we walked into the room and it was an OMG moment.
The room was double heighted, we had a large lounge area. With views of the Booking Office restaurant and the St Pancras train station. I feel in love and if I could I would never leave. The bathroom was marble and a little small, but how much time are you going to spend there.
We went down to the spa and had a swim. The pool is in the basement. And in August, it was so warm down there. And the pool is a bit on the small size. And with more than two people in there, I did not spend a lot of time down there.
We then went to try out the complementary afternoon tea which came with access to the Chambers Club.
And this was delicious ! I loved staying here for my birthday. And I think that this could be the only hotel that I would return too.
