Elizabeth Arden products I have trialled on my rosacea skin.
Eight Hour Great 8 Daily Defense Moisturiser SPF 35
1 step, 8 great benefits. Great 8 is your all-in-one solution for healthy, glowing skin. More than just a moisturiser, Great 8 is packed with 8 great benefits: designed to protect and perfect the look of skin. Protects against the damaging effects of sunlight, blue light, infrared and pollution, as it hydrates, purifies, brightens and fights excess oil. Its lightweight, semi-translucent gel melts onto skin, no white cast or residue. From sunlight to blue light and beyond. After 1 month of use, skin tone appears more even, pores appear minimized and skin looks brighter supposedly. No smell, no problems, this worked very well on my rosacea skin. I like that this is both a moisturiser and an SPF. I will be repurchasing this in the future. But I found in February 2021, that they have already discounted this. Such a shame.
Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules Radiance Renewal Serum
This satiny dry oil serum helps to visibly brighten skin, even tone and protect against premature aging signs. See visibly brighter skin after just one use. Single-dose capsules. Travel friendly. Free from added fragrance. Encapsulated for freshness, formulated for maximum potency. This luxurious, lightweight dry oil serum combines two powerhouse ingredients in one capsule: Vitamin C for its brightening, and ceramides to help prevent moisture loss. Very easy for me to use, liked the product. Just have to find the best price as this is expensive.
Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum & Eye Serum
This set had half the ceramide capsules and half the eye serum. Perfect to try this out. I used the ceramide capsules after I finished the Vitamin C capsules. The ceramide capsules were lovely. I loved the silky feeling on my face. Now the eye capsules, I had 39 of these, this is a serum that enhances skin’s natural barrier, increases miniaturisation within the surface of the skin, and minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The eye contour has the thinnest, most fragile skin on the entire face. The eye capsules are formulated specifically for the delicate skin around the eye and to target visible imperfections such as crow’s feet, crepiness and puffiness. Not sure I would repurchase the eye serum. Both were too oily for me. So not repurchasing in the future.
Retinol Ceramide Capsules Line Erasing Night Serum
76% more potent than un-encapsulated retinol. A targeted treatment to visibly diminish lines and wrinkles, while improving skin texture and tone. Each biodegradable capsule is single use, and sealed tight for optimal freshness and potency. Suitable for all skin types. Clinically and dermatologist tested. Very gentle for my rosacea skin. But I had to use two every time for my face and neck. Not a fan, so not repurchasing again.
Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum
New for 2020, was the hyaluronic acid ceramide capsules. To visibly plump, firm and hydrate the skin. I brought two sample sizes of 7 pieces to try. And the first time, I used one. I loved it. With the mixture, it made it feel silky and soft. I really like these. They are very expensive for what they are. But perfect for travelling. I am going to fully test these out. I like them very much
Would I Repurchase ?
The capsules are a maybe. That is not to say that if I fly anywhere and find the Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide capsules at a good price. Who knows. They are perfect for travelling. You can find Elizabeth Arden at most high street shops. I brought a lot when the brand was on offer at Boots.
