ELEMIS, MY FAVOURITE PRODUCTS

Elemis is a brand of skincare that I have finally got around to trying. I have had lots of travel sizes and I have used them all up and I am so impressed with them. Here I am showcasing my favourite products from my beauty stash. These I have used throughout my year of using Elemis.
Cleansing
The micellar water is amazing. It is actually as good or is better than the Bioderma one. It has helped me to clean my face so easily and get everything off without stinging or hurting my complexion. Elemis has made something special that is gentle as well as effective.
Treatments
Papaya Enzyme Peel I just love. Natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating Papaya and calming Pineapple smooth and clarify the complexion. This rinse-off exfoliating cream contains nourishing Milk Protein, anti-oxidant rich Vitamin E and Marine Algae to moisturise, repair and protect skin. Perfect for complexions which are sensitive or mature. I tried my travel size and just feel in love. I then got two for the price of one from QVC where you can find many bargains sometimes. Pro Collagen Marine Mask has turned out to be another long term favourite. The unique and powerful algae, Padina Pavonica, helps to instantly firm and tone the skin. Adaptogenic Noni, Moringa and Argan tree oil are combined to help support the skin and improve elasticity for a more youthful, firmer appearance.
Moisturising
Long term favourite is the Marine Cream Ultra Rich. This is specially formulated to intensively nourish and moisturise dry and dehydrated skin. The powerful anti-ageing ingredients have been shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles, improve skin firmness, tone and hydration in 14 days. The genius in this formulation is that Elemis haven’t gone for the bog standard shea butter to give the ‘richness’. The base oil is jojoba, the easiest for all skin types to absorb. The next oil is sunflower, cocoa butter doesn’t make its appearance until way down the ingredients list. Good news for absorption rates and people prone to breakouts but still in need of something nourishing. This will always be in my stash, my face loves this.
The Pro Collagen Marine Cream is a lovely anti aging day cream. It feels rich yet light and easily absorbed. The texture of the cream is lovely and it sinks right in to your skin not leaving it greasy and oily. After only a week of using it I could definitely tell a difference. It did not irritate my skin and doesn’t cause any redness. So I brought some more in some of the sets I got for bargain prices in January deals.
The Pro Collagen Oxygenating Night cream is another favourite. This is a thicker cream than the others, but you only need a little to cover the face and neck, so a pot last a long time.It goes on smoothly and you can feel your skin absorbing it in. It is expensive and I am not a fan of the packaging.
Superfood Facial Oil
My rosacea skin just loves this facial oil in the morning. This natural blend of highly concentrated plant-based superfoods deeply nourishes and hydrates. Anti-oxidant and omega-rich Broccoli, Flax Seed and Daikon Radish feed the skin for a healthy, radiant glow. The only problem is the price. I have been trying lots of different oils and not found one to match this. I also get it when it is on special offer or in sets.
Aching Muscle Super Soak
I was recommend this by a friend who insisted this works. When it arrived, the smell was awful. My husband though it was like a deep heat aroma. So I started using this every day for a week. And for someone who has rheumatoid arthritis and painful joints every day. This product gives me three hours of respite. I may even have two baths on bad days and see how I get on. This will always be brought in the future.
These are the Elemis products I will probably return too often. These ones just work for me.
