Royal Crescent

No. 1 Royal Crescent is the first building at the eastern end of the Royal Crescent in Bath, Somerset. Somewhere else I wanted to visit in Bath was the restored No 1 Royal Crescent. I love historical sites and this one was beautiful.

And this entrance is something I would love to replicate but I do need to get an older house to do this.

Royal Crescent

The house is restored and dressed as it would have been during the 17th – 18th century. After purchasing your ticket and mine in 2016 was £10 in 1A, you go next door and view the house.

You visit rooms, such as the Parlour, The Withdrawing Room, up the grand staircase which again I loved.

And look at that wig. You can not imagine men wearing them. Well I can’t !

And this is the view from the bedroom.

Oh wow that does sound and look super interesting! I’m such a sucker for historical buildings and the stories behind them.

    Love, Kerstin
