AVEDA BE CURLY RANGE REVIEW

Aveda Be Curly Range review is next. This brand I used next on my curls. The local salon in my home town is an Aveda one. I had a treatment last December and loved the effect of my hair.

Shampoo

Gently cleanse your waves or curls and defines them with a wheat protein and organic aloe blend that expands when hair is wet and retracts when hair is dry, therefore, taming frizz and increasing shine. I loved the smell and texture of this. It worked on some of my hair, I did find some frizz still. I will be repurchasing this as I do like it.

Co Wash

Condition and remove build-up from your curls while cleansing your scalp with our sulfate-free formula that moisturises hair for up to 3 days with certified organic babassu oil. Fight frizz and improve the look of curls with every use. This was okay.

Conditioner

Condition your waves or curls and define them with a wheat protein and organic aloe blend that expands when hair is wet and retracts when hair is dry, taming frizz and increasing shine. This did not work for me.

Intensive Detangling Mask

Easily separate the most tangled curls and coils while moisturising with certified organic babassu oil and shea butter. Fight frizz and improve the look of curls with every use. Did not work for me.

Style Prep

Pre-style treatment creates the perfect foundation for curly hair styles. Detangles, moisturises and defines curls as it seals the cuticle, taming frizz all day. This was okay.

Curl Enhancer

Intensifies curl, combats frizz and boosts shine on curly or wavy hair. Wheat protein and organic aloe infused styling creme expands when hair is wet and retracts when hair is dry to help intensify your curl or wave. Aveda’s own Pure-Fume aroma with certified organic lemon, geranium, bergamot, orange and other pure flower and plant essences. Another product from this range is a possible repurchase. I liked this and worked well for me. Both on wash day and refresh day too.

Conclusions

I used the style prep first and liked the gel product on my curls. The shampoo is very nice. Worked well, and smelt nice. Curl enhancer is the cream that I may buy. But after two months of use, I noticed that my hair was too fluffy and I hated what these products did to my curls. I stopped using them. These products made my curls too moisturised and it prefers protein. I used them up by mixing them with other protein products and will not be repurchasing any of them. But this curl journey is a hit and miss. Aveda Be Curly is a bit of a hit and miss for me.
