The Round Tower is a 17th-century tower located in central Copenhagen, Denmark, and one of the many architectural projects of Christian IV of Denmark, built as an astronomical observatory. The Tower is 34.8 metres high. Its original purpose was as an astronomical observatory is still active and you can see gaze through the telescope from 1929.

This is called the Spiral Ramp and is the only way up to the platform. It is 209 metres long and twists 7 and a half times around the core. This was really strange to walk up.

And you do get great views over the city and its famous buildings.

I would recommend this to anyone in Copenhagen, it is such a unique experience. You can imagine the coach and horses that we go up this tower.
