I needed a hotel close to Paddington Station, and found Park Grand London Hyde Park a mere five minute walk away. I arrived about 11 am and asked if I could leave my suitcase. And I was surprised that my room was ready and I could check in and leave it in the room. I walked into my room and I really liked it.

The bed was huge for me, as my husband decided not to stay with me and go home to look after our pets.

The only thing I missed was a bath but it was a nice room and perfect for what I wanted it for.

I would return to stay here if I was getting an early train out of Paddington again. This 4-star hotel in London’s West End is 450 yards from Paddington Station and Heathrow Express. Oxford Street shopping is a few minutes away by Underground. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Each modern room at the Park Grand is decorated in warm colours. They feature a tea/coffee maker and private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer kitchenettes and separate seating areas for self catering. In the mornings, guests can enjoy a rich breakfast prepared with seasonal ingredients. There is also a bar serving snacks and hot and cold drinks. Hyde Park is 10 minutes from the hotel by foot. The multi-lingual staff can advise guests on a range of other local attractions.
