Exhibition Road in London is one of my favourite roads in London – mainly because of the museums and buildings there. This is found on the circle line (Yellow one) and you exit at South Kensington Tube station. It is well signposted – you follow the subway under the street and take which ever exit you require for the different museums. If you do this, you do miss out on the beautiful buildings that London has to offer.

The Natural History Museum

NatHist

The museum is home to life and earth science specimens comprising some 80 million items within five main collections: botany, entomology, mineralogy,  palaeontology, and zoology. The museum is a world-renowned centre of research specialising in taxonomy, identification and conservation. You could easily spend a day in this museum. There is so much to see and experience

The Victoria and Albert Museum

VandA

The Victoria and Albert Museum (often known as the V&A),  is the world’s largest museum of decorative arts  and design, housing a permanent collection of over 4.5 million objects. This was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. I visit this museum for the temporary exhibitions that are held there. It is a beautiful building.

The Science Museum

SMUS

This museum offers so much to learn about science. From space to astronauts to history of science to cars to nervous system to 3D is the IMAX 3D Cinema showing science and nature documentaries, most of them in 3D.

The Royal Albert Hall printers. The museum now holds a collection of over 300,000 items,. It also contains hundreds of interactive exhibits. A recent addition

RAHa

Primarily a concert hall – this is one of my favourite buildings in London. Each year it hosts more than 350 events. Including classical concerts, rock and pop, ballet and opera, sports, award ceremonies, school and community events, charity performances and banquets.
